About

Born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina, I'm a December 2022 graduate of the University of South Carolina. I have a degree in journalism with a concentration in sports media along with a minor in sports management.

My love for journalism started my freshman year of college when I joined The Daily Gamecock, South Carolina's student newspaper. My love for sports stems from watching the Atlanta Braves with my family growing up and it's something I've carried with me throughout my life.

 

I've written for several different media outlets and have had the pleasure to cover all different kinds of sports at several different levels of competition. I am currently a sports reporter for The Virginian-Pilot where I have been full-time since April 2023 after starting as an intern in January 2023.

When I'm not doing anything sports related, you can find me on my couch with a bucket of popcorn watching a movie or reading a good book. I love Marvel movies and will read anything written by Shea Serrano. If you follow me on Twitter (or X, if that's what you prefer to call it) you will find me sending out random thoughts about sports, movies, my EA CFB25 dynasty or other random things.
