Award winning stories

This story about how a small local HBCU football program is faced with building despite minimal resources and a season canceled by COVID won second place for a sports story in the 2022 S.C. Press Association news contest and the Society of Professional Journalists Region 3 Mark of Excellence Award for ports writing.
